Discussions Moderator Information and Application
The Wikia serves, not only as a wiki but as a community, where users can interact and trade with others. We are looking for Discussion Moderators who can enforce the Rules within Discussions.
We are looking for people who have the following qualifications:
You are:
- Experienced with general moderation;
- Experienced in the American English language;
- Interested in working closely with the moderation team;
- Active on the wiki;
You will:
- Actively engage with users in Discussions
- Oversee and constantly supervise Discussions activities
- Work closely with the discussion moderators and administrators
- Intercommunicate with the other staff divisions when needed
Application Procedures
A few things we are looking for in your application are the following:
- Your Discord Username and Tag (e.g. Spidermandawg#3621)
- Any type of wiki moderation experience (if none, please specify that)
- Your availability (and current moderator/administrator roles on other wikis if applicable)
- Other comments (e.g., your goals, academic life, etc.)
Writing in paragraphs is preferable. Grammar and syntax will also be evaluated.
To better your chances for the discussion moderator role, we are looking for someone who...
- is active in Discussions;
- has good with communication via Discord;
- is advanced in American English writing
Content Moderator Information and Application
The Adopt Me! Wiki is getting popular every day and more moderators are needed!
As an Stalker! Wikia Content Moderator, you will be a key participant in helping the wiki's moderation. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the moderator teams, content and discussion, to create a safe environment for Wikia users and verifying that all articles' information is factual and accurate.
You are:
- Experienced in wikitext and HTML;
- Experienced with source editor;
- Experienced with general moderation;
- Experienced in the American English language;
- Interested in working closely with the moderation team;
- Active on the wiki;
You will:
- Create pages for new items from updated versions
- Oversee user pages and articles
- Constantly supervise the wiki activities
- Work closely with the content moderators and administrators
- Intercommunicate with the discussion moderators when needed
**You will not do discussion moderator duties.
Application Procedures
A few things we are looking for in your application are the following:
- Your Discord Username and Tag (e.g. Spidermandawg#3621)
- A good grasp on the Rules
- Your education level
- Your experience with source editor (wiktext and HTML)
- Any type of wiki moderation experience (if none, please specify that)
- Your availability (and current moderator/administrator roles on other wikis if applicable)
- Other comments (e.g., your goals, academic life, etc.)
